If you happen to be in the south of England and are already feeling the need to escape electoral campaign antics, one possibility might be to head on down to the Hovercraft Museum in Lee-on-Solent (between Portsmouth and Southampton). Apparently it has the world's only collection of historic hovercraft, with over 60 vessels for you to feast your eyes upon. It's probably not the kind of thing I'd be into myself, but you know, whatever floats your boat!

Seems pointless to even comment on some of the ridiculous UKIP policies, yet comment we must! One of their youth justice policies is boot camp - a proven failure and a huge waste of money considering a cost/benefit analysis shows it does nothing for youth offending figures and disposes of plenty of money in the process. I think it was the Rand Corporation who published this...maybe not.
I totally agree. Evidence-based policy making is not a forte for UKIP (or Labour or Tories for that matter). They prefer to make sweeping, unfounded claims and generalisations appealing to their key demographics and to hell with the social ramifications. The question I find myself asking is "are UKIP idiots or just evil?"
